About The Secret Glen campsite

Welcome to The Secret Glen, a hidden gem nestled just outside Dunoon in Argyll. We are a family run, fully serviced campsite in an idyllic setting that is perfectly located to enjoy some of the best walks in the local area, including Puck’s Glen which is right on our doorstep.

Meet David and Louise

We are David and Louise, a couple who have lived in Dunoon since childhood. In 2020 we undertook a project we had dreamed of for years, purchasing the land across from our house and developing The Secret Glen from the ground up. Now we’re up and running, you’ll find us onsite, often with our two young kids, Jack and Pippa, or our sausage dog Basil in tow! With years of experience touring Scottish festivals and the surrounding area in our own campervan, we are well-placed to assist you during your stay!

How to get here

Located just outside Dunoon in Rashfield, Argyll, The Secret Glen is easily accessible by car from Glasgow or Loch Lomond on the A83 and A15, following signs for Dunoon. Alternatively, you can enjoy a scenic journey by taking the Western Ferries from McInroy's Point.

Choose your preferred way to camp at The Secret Glen. Our campsite features fully serviced campervan pitches, providing a comfortable base for your outdoor adventures. For those who prefer traditional camping, we offer spacious tent pitches in a natural setting, allowing you to connect with the great outdoors.
